ECOWOOD Plywood is crated in the
Philippine market, as follows:
The standard crating of ECOWOOD Plywood for the export market is 1.78 cubic meters or as may be specified by the buyer.
- The terms, conditions and recommendations as to the use of the product as contained in the current product data of C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc., or its suppliers, are incorporated in the contract of sale, and the buyer is taken to be familiar with these and accordingly accepts that the product should be used for the purposes and in the manner specified.
- All conditions and
warranties, implied by law, by representations not in writing, or by
the terms and conditions, if any, contained in the buyer's purchase
order forms, are expressly excluded. Any liability of C. Alcantara &
Sons, Inc., shall in any case be limited solely to replacement
of the materials complained of, and then only where:
- the material has been used for an approved purpose, and the materials has been used in accordance with the recommendations or directions of C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc.
- the material had an inherent flaw, and
- notice of the defect has been given to C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc., upon delivery, or in the case of latent defects, upon discovery by the buyer, but in any event no later than 12 months after delivery.
- opportunity is given to C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc., to attend and inspect the materials in place immediately after discovery of the fault.
- C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc., will accept no responsibility for damage or deterioration through improper handling of storage.
